Sr. Program Manager, AIR Expansion

Amazon Air (AIR) is looking for a self
– starter leader to join the AIR Expansion team to lead strategic initiatives.

This person will work across various organization including Technology, Procurement, Legal, Network Planning, Network Execution, Service Performance and Gateway Operations to identify, develop and execute a short and long term optimal air network solution to delight our customers with fast and reliable deliveries.

As the Sr.

Program Manager, Air Expansion in Amazon Air, you will be responsible to identify expansion opportunities.

You will work with senior leaders to build and approve business and financial plans of record, partner with operations teams to design and incubate operating plans, define operating requirements and prepare for expansion launches.

If you want to work for a great company, have the opportunity to innovate, manage, and create new air and ground solutions and most importantly love to delight our customers, then join us in making Amazon history Responsibilities include: Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate air transportation opportunities Lead operational and technology integration efforts Lead regular communication cadence with all stakeholders Communicate goals, roles, responsibilities and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams to gain buy-in and deliver project schedules Address barriers through problem solving, communication and active coordination with stakeholders Work within time constraints to meet critical business needs (often managing multiple, time-sensitive and high priority initiatives simultaneously) ensuring service requirements are met Systematically escalate problems or variances in the operating plan to relevant owners and teams, following through to resolution to ensure solutions are delivered Navigate through ambiguity, managing and coordinating multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the process and delivering on commitments Successful candidates will have the following skills/experience: Must be highly proficient in written and verbal communications and be able to produce concise, strategically driven documents and presentations to leaders Proven track record of problem solving skills and ability to use analytical tools is required, while analytic experience in the areas of transportation or network management is strongly preferred Demonstrated experience in working in cross functional organizations Must have an ability to manage and execute multiple priorities in a timely manner across multiple projects Must demonstrate the ability to influence internal and external organizations to achieve corporate goals, including the ability to influence and manage upward as necessaryBasic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business or related field 5 years of experience in program or project management 5years of experience in operations, network planning and/or supply chain management 3 years of experience in operation technology integration and data analytics (basic SQL, excel) 3 years of experience working with external service providers Willing to travel domestic/international 20% of the time Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
