The incumbent will also be a Transportation Management System (TMS) super-user.

Along with various stakeholders, they will see to the system’s improvement and optimization.

In addition, they will support and help transportation agents with daily tasks and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.

Finally, they will plan, on occasion, merchandise deliveries and pickups for Lowe’s Canada customers and suppliers at both the Boucherville and Terrebonne distribution centres.Your roleComplete quotes and negotiate with carriersVerify invoices related to transfers and semi-directsConduct follow-ups for pickups and deliveries for transfers and semi-directsInform customers and suppliers of transportation proceduresEnhance TMS usage by contributing to the improvement of its quality and processesPlan delivery and pickup routes using a TMSManage route add-ons with the Dealer Services teamManager overflows and left-behindsEnsure that transportation operations are smoothly executed by Lowe’s Canada carriersProvide unparalleled service to Lowe’s Canada’s customers and suppliersEnsure communication between shipping and receiving for transportation equipmentProvide service to other departments for special deliveriesWork closely with Lowe’s Canada’s Supply Chain team, distribution centres, and various carriersJob RequirementsThe qualifications we are looking forSpoken and written bilingualism (French and English)College degree in transportation and logisticsAt least three (3) years of relevant transportation experienceKnowledge of Canadian geographyAbility to communicate effectively with various stakeholdersProficiency with the Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to resolve operational problemsDynamic and results-driven approachTeam player attitudeExperience with TMSs (an asset)Good logistical problem-solving skillsNegotiation and communication skillsAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to work under pressure in a frequently changing environmentCustomer service experience
